This was my 2nd solo rove. Getting used to being on my own. Got a 2nd headset so I could easily switch between the two rigs(910 and 957) without having to move plugs back and forth. This made for some headset juggling but it was far easier than moving plugs would have been. Managed to fry 1.2g somehow. RX was ok but TX went down in late in the day Saturday. My new antennas on order from directive systems didn't show in time for use. Otherwise the antenna stack worked great. Used the same rove plan from the last contest. Nice drive. Working Lou n9kc was nice. He came up and worked the Morgan County high points in the AM on Sat. Thx to Jim, w0eea for staying up late to work me as I drove up the hill in Calhan. The spot in DM88DX continues to work out well. I need to get xverters for higher bands next. Also need to get the 1.2 module in the 910h fixed. Why does it always rain when I'm in Calhan?
