We will be running APRS on 147.585
We run Xastir with NODIGI for transmit and "rfonly" on recieve as well
as having a system to prevent two 2m signals at the same time. Our goal
is a simplex packet system to keep other stations informed as to our location
and intentions. Send us messages and check our packets for updates.

We will be starting at W0EEA's barn in DM79vh. We'll hang out there to get some easy microwave with them and others that have beams and waveguides pointed in the direction. We'll work the other bands for a while, but since we'll be spending part of sunday in that grid, we plan on moving quickly. We will be active for a short period of time in DM78 before heading into DM89. After that we'll head into DN80 and then west into DN70. We have a commitment at 1800 MDT in DN70 and will end saturday there. In the morning we'll head into DN71, east into DN81, DN91 and DN90. From that confluence, We'll take I76 back to DM79 via DN80 and DN70.
We built this snazy desk to go into Eric's minivan based on Tom Sullivan's (W1AUV) article. Thanks Tom. Our desk seems to be a little larger, but doesn't have the flip down remote mount. The radio rack is on a lazy susan that lets us move it around with a gate latch to hold it in place. Both 857s and the alinco 125cm rig have remote speakers. This lets us monitor radios while we're outside trying to make microwave contacts. Noone in this area seems to have a radio that can play at 927.5mhz, but we bring ours just in case. The key is mostly for show as I (John, kg6one) am not quite up to contesting speed, nor am I confident enough to go get tested. All in good time.

Top: 6m amp, 70cm amp
